Dane Farlee

Dane was born in Fort Wayne but rushed to Riley when he was a day old. He was born with critical aortic stenosis and required immediate surgery to survive. It was not diagnosed during an ultrasound before he was born. It was decided that he would require a series of 3 surgeries to get to the repair that he needed. His first surgery was when he was only 9 days old. We stayed in the hospital for a total for 32 days. His second surgery was when he was 14 months old and his completion surgery took place when he was 3. He has no restrictions, plays sports and is in advanced classes in school..
